A Low-Risk, Turn-Key Program
We’ve created a seamless, turn-key charity contest program that gives you the ability to engage your target donors and raise funds at no cost to you!
HOW IT WORKS:
Once you sign-up to become an OmegaJam charity partner, we’ll build you a custom hub and help you slate contests designed to appeal to your target donor base. Registered OmegaJam members will then make a donation to support your cause and receive entries into your contest. We offer two donation options:
Turn-Key Option: We offer a turn-key package where donations are made to our partner fiscal sponsor. This alleviates you from the burden of compliance. At the end of each contest, our partner fiscal sponsor then grants your organization 80% of the donations.
Integration Option: For larger organizations, we can integrate the OmegaJam platform with your payment gateway, so donations will go directly to you. This process takes about 2-3 weeks and will require an integration fee. If you select this option, we charge a platform fee equal to 13% of the donations you receive. However, you will be be responsible for compliance.
OmegaJam Charity Contests Are NOT Gambling!
The OmegaJam Charity Contest Program has been designed to comply with the legal standards set forth in the jurisdictions we operate. In particular, we have structured the program such that our charity contests do not meet the legal definition of gambling and would instead be considered free-to-enter contests and therefore exempt from State and Federal gambling or gaming regulations.
- A Donation Is Not Required to Enter: Every charity contest offered through the OmegaJam provides Registered Members with the ability to receive an entry without making a donation. Instructions are explicitly provided on this website, in the OmegaJam User Agreement, and in each contest’s hub. Again, since a donation is not required to receive an entry and an entry can be obtained for free, no legal consideration is being offered by the entrant.
- The Underlying Contest Formats Are Based on Skill: With the exception of the Random Draw versions of our contests where all entries are assigned selections randomly, our contest formats are skills-based where the outcome is predominantly determined by the skill and knowledge of the entrants in the underlying sport or activity the contest is based. For example, if a contest is based on NFL Football, those entrants who possess a greater level of knowledge of NFL Football, the teams and, the players will have an inherent advantage over entrants with a lesser level of knowledge.
